Sustaining Agriculture and Biodiversity Through Pollination
“Sustain farmers through pollination (bees) for agriculture development to improve and conserve biodiversity and expand supply chain durability in Africa and around the world”
Our Story
Meet APIHAB GREEN, a pioneering initiative led by young African changemakers from varied backgrounds. With a rich blend of experience in private sector companies, development institutions, and expertise in agriculture, community development, environmental stewardship, and entrepreneurship, they are poised to make a meaningful impact in Africa’s agriculture sector. Beginning with beekeeping, they will diversify their efforts in the years to come, driving growth and progress across the continent.
Our Mission
Imagine a world where agriculture is a force for good, where people and the planet prosper together. Our vision is to make this a reality by empowering the next generation of farmers – youth and rural women – to become leaders in sustainable agriculture. Through education, training, and support, we aim to unlock their potential, drive local development, and create a brighter future for all.
Our Values
- Safety: Prioritizing well-being and security in all we do
- Teamwork: Collaborating with passion and trust to achieve common goals
- Innovation & Excellence: Striving for exceptional quality, creativity and ingenuity to drive progress
- Equity & Integrity: Promoting fairness, honesty, transparency, and justice in all we endeavor
- Sustainable Life: Do what is right for people and the planet
Our 4 Solutions
Building Stronger Communities Through Collaboration and Conservation
Farmers Livelihood
Farmers’ Livelihoods are critically important for global food security, poverty reduction, and environmental sustainability. Our actions to sustain farmers’ livelihoods will assure them a stable and sufficient income for both their families and farms because they are essential in using sustainable agriculture practices to provide food security for their community and beyond.
Women & Youth Empowerment
Women & Youth Empowerment is essential for building a more just and sustainable future. Our focus within the communities is to allow rural women to have access to quality education and skills training to enhance economic opportunities to have economic independence and to be able to participate in household, community, and political decision-making processes.
By empowering rural women and youth, we aim to create a more just and equitable society, driving progress towards the SGDs.
Conservation & Protection of Biodiversity
